Slabs of Granite are cut from the earth and, over time, are refined into the countertops you see in homes across the country (but most importantly in homes near Wichita or Derby). Granite is typically “busier” than Quartz, and every slab is completely unique. It’s perfect for someone who wants a little pattern with a plain white backsplash or wants that 100% stone that is resistant to heat!

When choosing a Quartz, color and company are key. While Cambria boasts a plethora of colors, they may not be as affordable as the options provided by Silestone (made by Cosentino). Which Is Cheaper Marble Or Quartz?
Marble is usually cheaper than quartz because it stains much easier and chips far easier. Quartz is nearly impossible to break, but marble breaks easily. If you are deciding between the two, we recommend quartz. Quartz is about 10% or so more than marble, but the quality and durability make it a better long-term value.
Are Quartz Countertops A Good Investment?
Yes, they are almost impossible to break, impossible to stain, will last long after you are gone, and are extremely heat resistant. Not to mention they just look appealing and beautiful, making quartz countertops a fantastic long-term investment.

About Clearwater, KS
Clearwater was first settled in 1870, then platted as a city in 1872. It was named from the clear water of the river upon which it is situated. The first post office in Clearwater was established in 1871, and the name of the post office was officially spelled out Clear Water until 1894. The Chisholm Trail ran along the east side of the community from 1867 to 1871.
